INDICATIONS
CHLORAMEX is highly effective against Mycoplasma, gram positive bacteria, gram negative bacteria and some large viruses .
CHLORAMEX is indicated for treatment of G.I.T. ,urogenital and respiratory tract infections such as: enteritis , diarrhea , septicemia , CRD , fowl cholera , sinusitis ,spirochetosis and actinomycosis .
It is also used for control of secondary bacterial infections following viral infections and during period of stress.
DOSAGE
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Oral
GENERAL PHARMACOLOGICAL DOSE:
Foals and Calves: 10-20mg/ kg b.w.
Poultry: 60mg/ kg b.w.
DOSAGE:
Poultry: 1gm / 1-2 liters of drinking water daily for 5 days.
Foals and Calves: 1-2 gm / 25 kg b.w. daily divided into 2 doses at 12 hours interval for 2-3 days.

DISCRIPTION
Chlorotetracycline a bacteriostatic antibiotic with broad spectrum of activity against gram- positive , gram – negative bacteria, Mycoplasma and some large viruses .
It acts by inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis and is well absorbed from G.I.T. . In higher concentrations than the therapeutic level, it has some antiprotozoal activity.
