INDICATIONS
Flumequine, a quinolone derivative, with bactericidal action against gram negative bacteria and some gram positive bacteria. Flumequine is characterized by its quick absorption and distribution in animal tissues and reaches a high concentration level in blood within 1/2 hour of its administration. Flumequine acts by inhibiting the synthesis of nucleic acid in the bacteria without plasmidic resistance.
DOSAGE
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION : Oral
GENERAL PHARMACOLOGICAL DOSE : 12 mg / kg b.w.
Poultry : 0.5ml / 1liter of drinking water daily for 5 days.
Sheep, Goats, Cattle, Calves : 12 mg / kg b.w. for 3 days.
